About Ummah Society

Our Mission

To embody the first Islamic Institution established by Prophet Mohammed PBUH and the early Muslim Immigrants. As it was beyond a place of worship, it was a beacon of knowledge, a refuge for charity, a shelter for the homeless, a community space for gatherings and celebrations, a haven for children’s play and growth. In essence, the aim is to render the Ummah Society a hub around which the lives of Muslims in Atlantic Canada revolves.
